Congratulations to the laboratory staff on receiving two Russian Science Foundation grants
Russian Science Foundation announced the results of the 2020 competitive selection of the research proposals "Basic Scientific Research and Exploratory Scientific Research, Conducted by Research Teams"
Despite the difficult time, the results were announced at the stated time. The International Laboratory of Stochastic Analysis and its Applications submitted two grant proposals both of which were supported.
The first proposal was aimed to get the extension of the project "Some problems of applied stochastic analysis" that started in 2017. During three years the research team published a whole range of papers that got high reviewer rankings. The Academic Supervisor of the International Laboratory of Stochastic Analysis and its Applications professor Molchanov was the head of the research team. Professors Valentin Konakov, Sergey Pirogov and Alexander Veretennikov were the core research team members. A great contribution to the project success was made by Stephane Menozzi and Michael Grabchak. It should be noted that seven out of ten research group members were the members of the laboratory. According to the Russian Science Foundation rules, the maximum extension period for the project is two years.
The second project proposal topic was "Fractional and singular random processes". The head of this research team is the head of the laboratory Valentin Konakov, the core members of the research group are professors Stanislav Molchanov, Vasili Kolokoltsov, and Leonid Koralov. Seven out of ten members of the team are members of the laboratory. The grant awarded for a period of three years. Both research groups engage young researchers (under the age of 39). The youngest member is Georgy Gaitsgori, who obtained his bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Higher School of Economics. Congratulations and good luck to both research teams!
