"LSA Scientific Conference 2026" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the laboratory's scientific supervisor Valentin Konakov

From April 20 to 24, 2025, the International Laboratory of Stochastic Analysis and its Applications, within the framework of the project "New Directions in Applied Stochastic Analysis", held the scientific conference "LSA-spring meeting 2026", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the laboratory's scientific supervisor, Associate Professor of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Valentin Konakov.

The conference was held at the Voronovo Sanatorium in offline and online formats. The speakers at the conference were prominent scientists and professors from Russia, the USA, Italy, Germany, France, Great Britain, Japan: S. Molchanov, A. Veretennikov, Y. Kutoyants, M. Lifshits, N. Smorodina, V. Bally, A. Kohatsu-Higa, D. Stoyanov, E. Mammen, S. Menozzi, I. Grama, L. Koralov, A. Pascucci, E. Orsinger, S. Shaposhnikov, A. Pyatnitsky, E. Zhizhina, E. Yarovaya, V. Kolokoltsov, M. Kelbert, Y. Averbukh, J.-F. Jabir, E. Shishkina, and others.

The conference was held in a warm, friendly, and productive atmosphere, which facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience among the participants. There were many words of gratitude for the many years of fruitful cooperation from colleagues and students addressed to Valentin Konakov.

The conference participants shared their valuable experiences, the results of their recent research, and discussed their practical applications.

Young researchers had a unique opportunity to listen to lectures by leading global scientists specializing in mathematics and stochastic analysis. This provided them with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with advanced methods and approaches, as well as identify promising areas for their own research.
